Job summary

Primoris Services Corporation seeks a Commercial Manager to oversee all commercial aspects of energy services projects in Hubbard, Texas. You will lead contract negotiations, monitor profitability, and guide risk management while collaborating with engineering, operations, and project teams.

The role requires a track record in managing large-scale contracts, strong financial skills, and travel to sites as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
• 7–10 years of progressive experience in commercial management within energy services or construction.
• Proven track record of managing large-scale commercial contracts and projects.
• Strong understanding of contract law, commercial terms and risk management principles.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting.
• Willingness to travel to project sites and client meetings.
• Experience with Primoris Services Corporation or similar large-scale energy infrastructure companies is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement commercial strategies to maximize profitability.
• Negotiate, draft, and administer contracts with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers.
• Monitor project performance against budgets and schedules, addressing deviations and risks.
• Manage change orders and claims, ensuring timely resolution.
• Conduct financial analysis, forecasting, and reporting for projects.
• Collaborate with project management, engineering, and operations teams for execution.
• Build and maintain strong client and stakeholder relationships.
• Identify new business opportunities and support bid/proposal efforts.
