Job summary

Scientific Search is seeking a Commercial Manager for Chromatography & Purification in Reading, PA. You will lead growth in cutting-edge separation technologies, blending commercial strategy with hands-on technical leadership and responsibility for key customer relationships.

You will drive new business, manage the full sales cycle to contract, and support trials, scale-up, and process optimization. Travel up to 30% to customers and industry events is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical, Biochemical, Biotechnology, Food Science, or related field.
• Expertise operating industrial chromatography systems, including SMB.
• Knowledge of chromatographic separations, resins, and scale-up.
• Strong consultative selling and customer relationship skills.
• Familiarity with GMP environments is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Drive new business and strategic partnerships.
• Manage the full sales cycle through contract award.
• Lead extraction and purification operations in Building 3.
• Support customer trials, scale-up, and process optimization.
• Partner with engineering and R&D on new applications.
