Job summary

Teufel Landscape is seeking an experienced Project Superintendent to lead field execution on commercial landscape construction sites in Kent, Washington. You will supervise crews, coordinate with the Project Manager, and ensure safety, quality, and on-time delivery.

Responsibilities include reviewing plans, managing materials and equipment, tracking productivity, and communicating progress and issues to the PM. This outdoor role requires strong leadership and a commitment to OSHA standards.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in commercial landscape construction.
• Minimum 2 years supervisory experience.
• Knowledge of irrigation systems, grading, hardscape, and plant installation.
• Ability to read construction plans and schedules.
• Strong leadership, communication and problem-solving skills.
• English proficiency required; Spanish preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and good driving record.

• Maintain quality standards, manage punch-list work, and support project closeout.
• Train and supervise field employees while reinforcing safety and accountability.
• Complete required daily reports, timekeeping, safety documentation, and jobsite records.
• Lead safety meetings and ensure compliance with OSHA requirements.

This position works closely with the Project Manager to coordinate crews, equipment, materials, schedules, and jobsite priorities while maintaining high standards for safety, quality, and productivity.

What You’ll Bring

• Ability to read construction plans, specifications, and schedules.
• Strong leadership, communication, planning, and problem-solving skills.
• Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.
• English proficiency required; Spanish proficiency preferred.
• Basic technology skills.

This is an active, outdoor position performed on commercial construction sites in varying weather and terrain.
