Teufel Landscape is seeking an experienced Landscape Construction Foreman to lead commercial landscape construction crews while actively working alongside them in the field. This is a working foreman position, not a supervisory-only role.

Our foremen are hands-on leaders who install landscape improvements, operate equipment, solve field challenges, train team members, and maintain production while ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of commercial landscape construction experience.
  • Previous experience leading crews, serving as a foreman, or demonstrated leadership potential.
  • Strong knowledge of landscape construction methods, including both softscape and hardscape installation.
  • Ability to read and interpret plans and specifications.
  • Experience operating construction equipment and tools safely.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, coach, train, and develop landscape construction crews while working alongside them each day.
  • Perform and oversee commercial landscape construction work including planting, irrigation, site preparation, grading, hardscape installation, and other project scopes.
  • Read and interpret construction plans, specifications, and layouts.
  • Assign daily work, establish priorities, and keep projects moving efficiently.
  • Operate and direct the safe operation of construction equipment and tools.
  • Monitor crew productivity, workmanship, and quality standards.
  • Coordinate materials, equipment, and labor needs with project leadership.
  • Conduct safety inspections, lead toolbox talks, and enforce company safety standards.
  • Communicate daily with Superintendents and Project Managers regarding progress, resources, and jobsite challenges.

What We're Looking For
