Great Lakes Service, the Midwest leader in commercial cooking equipment repair, seeks skilled Commercial Kitchen Service Technicians (hot side) in IL/IN. You will troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair equipment at customer sites while delivering exceptional service and maintaining tools and parts for efficient calls.

The role requires a minimum of three years of experience in commercial kitchen repair, strong electrical/electronic/mechanical skills, and a commitment to safety and customer

Qualifications

• Minimum of three years in commercial kitchen repair or equivalent military technical roles.
• Electrical, electronic and mechanical skills required.
• Excellent customer communication and service skills.
• Drug screening and criminal background check required.
• Must be at least 18 years old. Driving record must meet safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Install, troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair commercial kitchen equipment.
• Provide excellent customer service on every service call.
• Complete service calls promptly and document work.
• Identify new customers and opportunities within existing accounts.
• Participate in after-hours and weekend on-call schedules.
• Maintain service vehicle and order necessary parts.
• Lift up to 50 pounds regularly and up to 100 pounds with assistance.
