Job summary

Great Lakes Service is seeking a Commercial Kitchen Equipment (Hot Side) Service Technician to troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair commercial kitchen equipment at customer sites across Illinois and surrounding areas. You will provide reliable service and meet customer expectations on every call.

Responsibilities include installing, diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining equipment, supporting after-hours and weekend on-call schedules, and maintaining your service vehicle and parts.

Qualifications

• Min 3 years in commercial kitchen repair or equivalent military technical roles.
• Electrical, electronic, and mechanical skills required.
• Excellent customer communication skills.
• Successful drug screen and background check required.

Responsibilities

• Install, troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair Commercial Kitchen Equipment.
• Provide excellent customer service by meeting expectations on every service call.
• Complete service calls promptly.
• Identify new customers and opportunities within existing accounts.
• Participate in after-hours and weekend on-call schedules.
