Job summary

Smart Care Equipment Solutions is seeking a Commercial Kitchen Service Technician in Morristown, NJ for a full-time, non-exempt role. You will service cooking, refrigeration, ware-washing and related equipment on customer sites, reading diagrams and schematics to diagnose issues.

The position offers on-the-job training, formal classroom development, and advancement opportunities through CFESA certifications. A vehicle, fuel card, tablet, and benefits are included, with travel as needed.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• 1 year of technical experience with refrigeration, kitchen equipment, HVAC, or related fields.
• Valid driver's license and ability to be on-call including nights/weekends.

Responsibilities

• Service commercial cooking, refrigeration, ware-washing, and related equipment on-site.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair equipment using diagrams and schematics.
• Communicate with manufacturers and the Technical Assistance Group for support.
• Install parts and maintain accurate work orders and inventory.
• Promote additional Smart Care services to customers when appropriate.
