Responsibilities

• Operate kitchen utensils to weigh, measure, mix, wash, peel, cut, grind, stir, strain, and season and knead foodstuffs for cooking, serving and storing.
• Assist in hot/cold food preparation and proper storage according to temperature requirements and spoilage rules.
• Inspect workstations for compliance with service standards.
• Clean and sanitize stations and equipment following safety procedures.
• Set up stations with entrees, soups, salads, breads, and condiments.
• Provide general stocking duties in service area.
• Serve and replenish food from counters and steam tables and break down stations after meals.
• May restock beverage areas and work on a tray line to distribute food.
• Interacts with customers and assists with opening containers and cutting food as needed.
• Washes dishes by hand or in the dishwasher and cleans work surfaces and equipment.
• Comply with HACCP and safety policies; attend safety trainings and meetings.
