Job summary

Smart Care Equipment Solutions in San Jose, CA is seeking a PM Technician to perform preventive maintenance on commercial foodservice equipment across customer sites. You will handle installations, removals, and emergency repairs for beverage and kitchen systems, ensuring optimal operation and uptime.

You will also train customer staff on daily maintenance and cleaning, manage time effectively to meet commitments, and pursue additional certifications to advance in your career.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license and acceptable motor vehicle record.
• Willingness to be on call or work shifts according to customer needs.
• Availability for occasional overnight travel as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Leave from home each morning to work at customer sites delivering performance checks on commercial foodservice equipment.
• Perform installations, removals, preventative maintenance, and emergency repairs on beverage and kitchen equipment.
• Train customer staff on proper cleaning and daily maintenance of equipment.
• Manage time and resources to control costs, improve efficiencies, and meet commitments.
• Pursue additional licenses and certifications through manufacturer training to advance in the career.
