Job summary
Smart Care Equipment Solutions is seeking a Preventative Maintenance Service Technician to support the kitchen equipment portfolio across customer sites in the Greater Bay Area, CA. You will perform proactive checks, installations, removals, and emergency repairs on refrigerators, ovens, fryers, ice machines, and beverage systems.
The role includes on‑the‑job and formal training, potential CFESA certification, and a company vehicle with fuel card, laptop, and cell phone.
Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Valid driver's license and acceptable motor vehicle record.
- Willingness to be on call or work shifts according to customer needs.
- Immigration sponsorship not provided for this role.
Responsibilities
- Leave from home each morning to perform performance checks on commercial foodservice equipment.
- Complete beverage equipment maintenance, repairs, installations and removals.
- Train the customer’s staff on cleaning and daily maintenance of equipment.
- Manage time and resources to control costs, enhance efficiencies, and meet customer commitments.
- Attend manufacturer trainings to obtain licenses/certifications to progress in your career.
