Job summary

Total Mechanical Service is hiring an HVAC, refrigeration and cooking equipment technician responsible for troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing commercial kitchen and refrigeration equipment at customer locations. The role includes preventive maintenance, and responding to emergency service calls on ovens, fryers, steamers, warmers, dish washing equipment, walk-ins and ice machines.

Qualifications

• Experience servicing cooking, refrigeration, or HVAC equipment
• Strong electrical, electronic, and mechanical skills
• Effective customer communication
• Background check and drug screen completed
• Must be at least 18 years old
• Driving record must align with safety standards

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair cooking, refrigeration, and HVAC equipment
• Treat customers and employees with respect and professionalism
• Complete service calls promptly
• Communicate effectively with customers, managers, dispatchers, and sales
• Participate in on-call rotation schedule
• Identify new customers and opportunities within existing accounts
• Maintain service vehicle
• Order parts and complete paperwork
• Attend training sessions
• Other duties as assigned
