Keep Restaurants Running — One Critical Fix at a TimeJoin Colliers and support Chick-fil-A restaurants through a best-in-class service network. You’ll work independently in the field, backed by expert technical resources, OEM training, and a responsive operations team that equips you to succeed.A day in this roleMorning starts with a prioritized route in your local market. You arrive onsite, connect with the Operator, and consult the Chick-fil-A Technical Assistance Team as needed. After accurately documenting the work order and updating your truck stock, you head to the next service request — a refrigeration sealed system check on a Traulsen unit — before finishing the day with preventative maintenance on HVAC rooftop equipment. What you’ll handleTroubleshoot, diagnose, repair, install, and remove commercial kitchen equipmentService hot-side cooking equipment, refrigeration systems (including sealed systems), specialty foodservice equipment, and base-building HVAC systemsMeet response times within established service level agreements and support on-call emergencies during non-standard hoursWork with manufacturers for diagnostic support and parts identification; install ordered parts accurately and professionallyConsult with the Chick-fil-A Technical Assistance Team while onsiteComplete timely documentation: work orders, time reporting, receipts, and truck stock inventoryMaintain an organized service vehicle, tools, and parts inventory; uphold productivity standards and safe work practicesEngage with equipment partners, suppliers, and vendors; participate in continuous OEM training and certificationEquipment you may serviceHenny Penny, Follett, Lennox (HVAC), Traulsen, Hobart mixers, Champion dishwashers, Garland Grill. What you bringTechnical trade school training and/or relevant hands-on experience; 5+ years related trade experience (or equivalent)Training/experience in one or more: sealed refrigeration/HVAC systems, electrical systems, mechanical systems, process controls, hot-side equipment and/or mechanical power transmissionExperience servicing kitchen equipment, facilities, or construction systemsEPA Universal CertificationValid state driver’s license, proof of insurance, and a safe driving record (MVR required); able to safely operate company vehiclesStrong mechanical aptitude; ability to read diagrams and schematicsProficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and mobile service applicationsExcellent written and verbal communication; self-starter who works independently with a positive, service-oriented attitudeTravel100% travel within a defined local marketLimited overnight travel, primarily for onboarding and trainingPhysical demandsWork extended periods during emergency or priority situations (including overtime)Lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 poundsClimb ladders and stairs up to two stories (with ladder safety training)Frequent bending, twisting, kneeling, crouching, and crawling; extended standing and walking on even/uneven surfacesFrequent use of arms, wrists, and hands to operate tools and machineryWork indoors and outdoors in varying weatherTools and techHVAC SystemsRefrigeration/Cooling SystemsBenefitsCompetitive compensation and benefits, including a full range of health care options, paid time off, and a 401(k).How to applyApplications will be accepted on an ongoing basis.
