Job summary

Tech-24 A Commercial Food Service Repair Company Inc in Greenville, SC seeks a Field Service Technician to diagnose, repair, and maintain commercial cooking and refrigeration equipment. You will deliver exceptional customer service while minimizing downtime and representing the company professionally.

Responsibilities include diagnosing ovens, fryers, steamers, walk-ins, ice machines, and related units; performing preventative maintenance; documenting service calls; managing truck parts; and

Qualifications

• 3-5+ years of experience diagnosing, troubleshooting, and repairing commercial cooking equipment (ovens, fryers, steamers, griddles, warmers, flattops)
• 3-5+ years of experience diagnosing, troubleshooting, and repairing commercial refrigeration systems (walk-ins, reach-ins, prep tables, ice machines)
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, wiring diagrams, and blueprints
• Own industry standard hand tools
• EPA Universal certification preferred

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair commercial cooking equipment (ovens, fryers, steamers, griddles, warmers)
• Diagnose, troubleshoot and repair commercial refrigeration systems (walk-ins, reach-ins, prep tables, ice machines)
• Perform preventative maintenance for safe, efficient equipment operations
• Document service calls, parts used, labor hours, and customer interactions in system
• Communicate repair status, recommendations, and timelines to customers
• Manage truck inventory to ensure parts and tools are stocked
• Respond to service calls promptly and professionally
• Represent the company with professionalism and high-quality customer service
• Follow safety regulations and company policies
• Participate in ongoing technical training and development
