Job summary

General Parts Group is hiring a Field Service Technician to repair and maintain commercial kitchen equipment in schools, healthcare facilities, and restaurants across the area. The role offers a $20–$45 per hour wage with growth opportunities and a company vehicle dispatched from home.

You will troubleshoot and service cooking, refrigeration, and HVAC systems, order/refer parts, and participate in after-hours on-call rotations. The position includes benefits such as PTO and a 401(k) match.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of related experience, education, or military training preferred
• EPA certification (for refrigeration techs)
• Strong mechanical aptitude & ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Valid driver’s license and driving record that meets our safety standards
• Completion of a criminal background check and drug screen

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain commercial cooking, refrigeration, and HVAC equipment
• Provide service solutions for gas, electric, and steam systems
• Order and install replacement parts
• Participate in after-hours & weekend on-call rotations
