Job summary

TEMCO – A Tech24 Company is seeking skilled Hot & Cold Technicians in Pearl/ Jackson, MS to diagnose, repair, and maintain commercial kitchen and refrigeration equipment. You will deliver professional customer service, manage parts, and ensure safety and efficiency in operations.

This full-time role offers weekly pay, a company vehicle, gas card, uniforms, a phone, and a strong benefits package including medical, dental, and 401(k) with company match.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of commercial foodservice and/or refrigeration repair experience.
• Valid drivers license with a clean driving record required
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills
• Experience working on commercial kitchen equipment is a plus
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, wiring diagrams, and blueprints
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to lift up to 50+ lbs. and work in varying indoor / outdoor conditions
• Ability to climb ladders, work from heights, and crawl in tight quarters
• Own industry standard hand tools
• Willingness to participate in an on-call rotation as needed
• EPA Universal certification preferred

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair commercial cooking equipment (ovens, fryers, steamers, griddles, warmers, etc.)
• Diagnose, troubleshoot and repair commercial refrigeration systems (walk-ins, reach-ins, prep tables, ice machines, etc.)
• Perform preventative maintenance to ensure safe efficient equipment operations
• Accurately document service calls, parts used, labor hours, and customer interactions in company system
• Clearly communicate repair status, recommendations, and timelines to customers
• Manage truck inventory to ensure proper parts and tools are stocked
• Respond to service calls in a timely and professional manner
• Represent the company with professionalism while delivering high-quality customer service
• Follow all safety regulations and company policies
• Participate in ongoing technical training and professional development opportunities
