Job summary

The role requires 2+ years in food service or industrial maintenance, ability to lift heavy loads, and strong problem-solving skills. On-site work with frequent travel may be involved.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in food service maintenance, industrial maintenance, or similar mechanical repair roles.
• Knowledge of local, state, and federal food safety regulations.
• Ability to lift 50–75 lbs, climb ladders, and work in tight or high-temperature spaces.
• Ability to communicate effectively and follow written and oral instructions.

Responsibilities

• Install and set up commercial equipment (ovens, steamers, walk‑in freezers, dishwashers, coolers).
• Perform preventative maintenance and servicing to extend equipment life.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical/electrical malfunctions with manuals and schematics.
• Replace faulty components like thermostats, heating elements, circuit boards, motors.
• Ensure compliance with safety and sanitation regulations including EPA refrigerant handling.
• Maintain stocked service vehicle with essential tools and parts.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
