Bonitz of Georgia Inc. is seeking an Interiors Estimator to prepare accurate, competitive estimates for commercial interiors projects. You will review plans, perform digital takeoffs in OST, and develop labor and material pricing for metal stud framing, drywall, and acoustical ceilings.

Proficiency with OST and Quick Bid is required. The role involves evaluating risks, meeting deadlines, and coordinating with cross-functional teams to deliver complete bid packages and successful proposals.

Formación

• High school diploma or GED required; degree in construction management or engineering preferred.
• Prior commercial interiors estimating experience in metal stud framing, drywall, and acoustical ceilings preferred.
• Proficiency using OST and Quick Bid required.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings, specs, addenda, schedules, and bid documents.
• Working knowledge of interior construction materials, labor, production, and installation methods.

Responsabilidades

• Review drawings, specs, bid instructions, addenda, and contract requirements to determine scope of work.
• Perform accurate digital quantity takeoffs in OST and develop detailed estimates in Quick Bid.
• Estimate labor, materials, equipment, production rates, waste, freight, and other direct costs.
• Prepare estimates for metal stud framing, drywall assemblies, insulation, acoustical ceilings, and related interior scopes.
• Identify scope gaps, risks, and constructability concerns; prepare RFIs as needed.
• Maintain current labor factors, material pricing, and cost data in estimating systems.
• Solicit, review, and compare supplier and subcontractor quotations for bid accuracy.
• Attend pre-bid meetings and site reviews; develop alternates and value-engineering options.
• Prepare proposals with defined scope, pricing, exclusions, and alternates.
