Job summary

Gpac is seeking a Remote Commercial Drywall Estimator based in the United States. This full-time role involves preparing detailed material and labor estimates for commercial drywall projects from a remote setting, using OST and Quick Bid.

Ideal candidates have at least 3 years of estimating experience, strong math and analytical skills, and the ability to work independently. Bachelor’s degree is preferred but not required; benefits include insurance, PTO, 401(k) with company match.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed and accurate material and labor cost estimates for commercial drywall, metal framing, insulation, and acoustical ceiling systems
• Utilize On-Screen Takeoff and Quick Bid to perform digital takeoffs and generate complete bid proposals
• Analyze blueprints, specifications, and other documentation to prepare comprehensive cost estimates
• Coordinate with project managers, subcontractors, and suppliers to gather pricing and project information
• Track and manage bids from initial inquiry through project award
• Maintain and update historical cost databases and pricing tools
• Attend virtual meetings and participate in bid reviews when necessary
• Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality
