United Contractor Services is seeking a Commercial Interiors Estimator to price drywall, metal framing, and acoustical ceilings for commercial projects. You’ll own estimates from takeoff through bid day and handoff to operations, working with GCs and vendors to ensure accuracy.

Qualifications

• Detailed takeoffs from plans and specs for drywall, metal framing, and acoustical ceilings.
• Ability to price labor and materials from productivity rates and current costs.
• Strong reading of specs to identify exclusions, alternates and scope gaps.

Responsibilities

• Perform detailed takeoffs for wall types, framing gauges and spacing, board layers, finish levels, ceiling systems and soffits.
• Build labor and material pricing using productivity rates and material costs.
• Review specs to catch exclusions and scope gaps before change orders.
• Write clear proposals and scope letters, and follow up through bid day.
• Site walk and pre-bid meetings to understand access, phasing, and conditions.
• Handover awarded work to PMs with a clean, documented estimate.
