Job summary

TFI International is seeking a Risk Analyst to join our Insurance & Compliance team. This role combines commercial insurance knowledge with data analysis, reporting, and cross-functional collaboration to support insurance renewals, exposure analysis, certificates of insurance, and compliance activities.

You will review policies, maintain data, and prepare reports for stakeholders while collaborating with brokers and operating companies to ensure timely insurance-related requirements.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of insurance, risk management, analyst, or related experience.
• Active Property & Casualty (P&C) License required or strongly preferred.
• Bachelor's degree preferred; equivalent insurance experience combined with an active P&C license will be considered in lieu of a degree.
• Working knowledge of commercial insurance coverages and exposure data.
• Experience supporting commercial insurance programs, renewals, or corporate risk management functions is a plus.
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills, including reporting, data analysis, and pivot tables.

Responsibilities

• Support commercial insurance programs, renewals, exposure analysis, and reporting.
• Coordinate insurance renewals and gather exposure data from operating companies.
• Review insurance policies, coverage terms, limits, deductibles, and contractual insurance requirements.
• Issue certificates of insurance and support day-to-day insurance administration activities.
• Collect, analyze, and maintain data from claims, audits, renewals, and other insurance-related sources.
• Maintain Excel workbooks, tracking tools, and reports used to support risk management activities.
• Prepare reports, presentations, summaries, and process documentation for stakeholders.
• Collaborate with brokers, operating companies, and internal teams to ensure timely completion of insurance-related requirements.
• Assist with special projects and continuous improvement initiatives within the Risk Management function.
