Job summary

FTI Consulting is seeking a data-focused professional to support the Global Insurance Services Practice with routine and non-routine insurance compliance reporting. You will process client data, run Access queries, and scrub data for bureau submissions.

The role involves building reliable data access, delivering high-quality outputs within deadlines, and collaborating with client personnel. Strong Excel skills and US work authorization are required.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of relevant post-graduate experience.
• Experience in Microsoft Access and Excel; ability to use Excel for data analytics including VLookups and pivot tables.
• Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis; this position does not provide visa sponsorship.
• Ability to travel to clients and FTI office(s) as needed.

Responsibilities

• Support the insurance compliance reporting data team for the Global Insurance Services Practice. This will entail working on the following types of reporting:
• Workers’ Compensation Unit Statistical Reporting
• Receives and processes data from clients (including premium and claims data). This data provides statistical bureaus with a snapshot of a policy at different valuations in time.
• Run a series of Microsoft access queries to edit and scrub the data received before it is submitted to the bureaus.
• Organizes and maintains database to facilitate effective data access and analysis
• Delivers a high-quality product within established timeframes and budgets
• Develops and maintains productive working relationships with client personnel
