Goodwin Recruiting has partnered with an established insurance agency seeking a driven P&C Insurance Producer in Illinois to build a commercial portfolio and expand new business. You will prospect, network, and convert opportunities into lasting client relationships while collaborating with an experienced service team.

The role emphasizes consultative selling, strong communication, and a goal-driven culture, with a generous base salary and commissions on new and renewal business.

Qualifications

• Experience in selling insurance products with a proven track record of sales.
• Knowledge of property and casualty insurance products and risk management is highly desirable.
• Strong communication, presentation, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Proven ability to prospect for new business, develop relationships, and close sales.
• Consultative mindset with the ability to understand client needs and recommend appropriate solutions.
• Self-motivated, organized, and comfortable working toward defined sales targets.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with internal service teams and external insurance carrier partners.
• Commitment to delivering an exceptional client experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute an annual sales strategy to achieve new business goals.
• Generate new business through prospecting, networking, referrals, existing client relationships, and targeted market development.
• Identify prospective clients and schedule appointments to uncover business insurance needs and opportunities.
• Conduct client discovery meetings to evaluate exposures and identify gaps in coverage.
• Gather underwriting information and collaborate with teams to develop submissions and options.
• Prepare and present customized insurance proposals with coverage, pricing, and value.
• Maintain a strong pipeline of prospective clients and referral relationships.
• Support onboarding, retention, and renewals with service colleagues.
