Job summary

USI Insurance Services in Birmingham, AL offers an 18‑month Commercial Insurance Career Track Program providing hands-on experience supporting account teams and day‑to‑day management of commercial insurance programs. You’ll learn how insurance coverage is structured, how risk is evaluated, and how brokers partner with clients and carriers to develop solutions.

You’ll train with industry professionals, shadow senior staff, and participate in designation projects while gaining real client work

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree earned within the past two years.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Organized, detail-oriented, and capable of meeting deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Support account managers in servicing client accounts across industries.
• Prepare applications, summaries of insurance, schedules, and client deliverables.
• Gather information from carriers, process policy changes, endorsements, audits, and renewals.
• Coordinate client requests and ensure documentation is accurate and up to date.
• Assist with renewal preparation and ongoing account service activities.
