Job summary

USI Insurance Services in Schaumburg offers an 18-month Commercial Insurance Career Track designed to provide hands-on experience supporting account teams, training across coverage concepts, and exposure to broker-client work. You’ll gain a strong foundation in commercial insurance through structured training and real-world projects.

You’ll perform duties from applications and loss runs to renewals, while developing client communication and teamwork skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree earned within the past two years.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

• Support account managers in servicing client accounts across industries.
• Assist in preparing applications, summaries of insurance, schedules, and client deliverables.
• Gather information from loss runs and policy updates with carriers.
• Process policy changes, endorsements, audits, cancellations, and reinstatements.
• Coordinate client requests and ensure documentation is accurate and up to date.
• Support renewal preparation and ongoing account service activities.
• Participate in team discussions to learn client strategies and insurance solutions.
