Job summary

Amwins in Delray Beach is hiring an Associate Broker to join our Brokerage team. You will review submissions, analyze quotes, determine coverage needs and develop proposals for commercial insurance placements.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years of commercial insurance experience, holds a current P&C license, and excels at building relationships with agents and underwriters. This full-time role offers a salary commensurate with experience and a broad benefits package.

Qualifications

2+ years of commercial insurance experience.
Must have current P&C license.
Experience developing relationships at all levels both internally and externally.

Responsibilities

Review submission information required to issue new or renewal quotes.
Analyze new and renewal submissions and provide market selection.
Determine coverage needs and develop proposals.
Review and handle inspection recommendations and discrepancies.
Develop relationships with agency and underwriter partners.
Receive and respond to calls/requests concerning problems, delays, discrepancies, etc. and provide resolution.
Supervise or delegate endorsement requests, signed applications, forms, underwriting information, tasks, and certificates of insurance to carriers.
Monitor various reports for consistency.
Other duties as assigned based on team need.
