Job summary

Amwins is seeking an Associate Broker in Fort Washington to join our Brokerage team. You will review submissions, determine coverage needs, and develop market proposals to secure the right coverage for our clients.

This role emphasizes building strong relationships with agencies and underwriters, while supporting a collaborative, growth-oriented environment. The position offers a competitive compensation package with annual bonus potential and a broad benefits program from day one.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of commercial insurance experience.
• Wholesale insurance experience preferred.
• Must have current P&C license.
• Experience developing relationships with internal and external partners.

Responsibilities

• Review submission information required to issue new or renewal quotes.
• Analyze new and renewal submissions and provide market selection.
• Determine coverage needs and develop proposals.
• Review and handle inspection recommendations and discrepancies.
• Develop relationships with agency and underwriter partners.
• Receive and respond to calls/requests concerning problems, delays, discrepancies, etc. and provide resolution.
• Supervise or delegate endorsement requests, signed applications, forms, underwriting information, tasks, and certificates of insurance to carriers.
• Monitor various reports for consistency.
• Other duties as assigned based on team need.

Each Associate Broker provides vital team functions:

• Review submission information required to issue new or renewal quotes
• Analyze new and renewal submissions and provide market selection
• Determine coverage needs and develop proposals
• Review and handle inspection recommendations and discrepancies
• Develop relationships with our agency and underwriter partners
• Receive and respond to calls/requests concerning problems, delays, discrepancies, etc. and provide resolution so that all parties are satisfied
• Supervise or delegate endorsement requests, signed applications, forms, underwriting information, tasks, and certificates of insurance to carriers
• Monitor various reports for consistency
• Other duties as assigned based on team need

We are looking for people with:

• 7+ years of commercial insurance experience
• Wholesale insurance experience preferred
• Must have current P&C license
• Experience with developing relationships at all levels both internally and externally
