Authority develops industry intelligence, data products and advisory offerings designed to help organizations make better strategic decisions. We are seeking an experienced commercial insurance advisor active in the United Kingdom to guide us as we refine our offerings.

You will provide practical guidance on customer needs, coverage design, underwriting, pricing, distribution models and market positioning, helping ensure our products reflect how the commercial insurance market operates.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of relevant insurance experience.
• Currently operating in or closely involved with the United Kingdom insurance market.
• Up-to-date knowledge of local customers, regulation and market conditions.
• Firsthand experience with insurance product, underwriting, claims, brokerage or distribution decisions.
• LinkedIn profile showing relevant professional experience.

Responsibilities

• Advise on commercial insurance product design and market fit.
• Recommend coverage, limits, exclusions and policy wording.
• Provide underwriting and pricing considerations.
• Discuss broker, carrier, MGA and direct distribution models.
• Advise on claims processes and common customer problems.
• Assess carrier appetite, capacity and competitive positioning.
• Suggest improvements to insurance data, tools and customer experiences.

Authority is developing insurance-focused products, intelligence and advisory offerings for businesses. We are looking for an experienced commercial insurance professional who is currently active in the United Kingdom to advise us as we develop and improve these offerings.

You will provide practical guidance on customer needs, coverage design, underwriting, pricing, distribution, claims and market positioning. Your advice will help ensure that our insurance offerings reflect how the commercial insurance market actually operates.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of relevant insurance experience
• Currently operating in or closely involved with the the United Kingdom insurance market
• Up-to-date knowledge of local customers, regulation and market conditions
• Firsthand experience with insurance product, underwriting, claims, brokerage or distribution decisions
• A valid LinkedIn profile showing relevant professional experience

Engagement details

• Independent consulting contract
• Remote within the United Kingdom
• Approximately 2 to 4 paid consulting hours per month
• Flexible scheduling
