Insurance Office of America is seeking an Account Manager - Commercial Lines to manage an assigned book of business, provide exceptional service, and support renewal activity. The role can be hybrid (1 day in office in NY area) or fully remote for applicants in Eastern or Central Time Zones.

You will lead a team, handle policy administration, billing, claims, and coverage analyses while maintaining strong client relationships and continuous improvement practices.

Qualifikationen

• 3-5 years of account management experience (or 5+ years in the insurance industry)
• Active property & casualty licensing; CIC preferred
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
• Exceptional customer service, communication, multitasking, and organizational skills
• Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)

Aufgaben

• Manage an assigned book of business, ensuring account retention and supporting new business.
• Coordinate day-to-day administrative and customer service activities, resolving complex issues, and ensuring no errors or omissions.
• Renewals: prepare submissions, negotiate coverages, and present proposals.
• Oversee policy expirations and renewals; monitor accounts receivable and collect overdue balances.
• Maintain agency management systems and carrier/vendor platforms with data accuracy.
