Job summary

United Insurance in Wayland, MI is hiring a Commercial Insurance Account Manager for a full-time role. You will assist agents with quoting, submissions, and follow-ups, manage renewals and audits, and maintain client files and systems.

The position requires a Michigan Property & Casualty license, a bachelor's degree or equivalent, and 5 years of related experience. Strong communication and relationship-building skills are essential.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
Five years related experience and/or training.
State of Michigan Property and Casualty License.
Regular sitting.
Utilizing hands & arms.
Ability to talk & hear.
Close vision of 20 inches or less.

Responsibilities

Assist commercial insurance agents with quoting, application submissions and follow-ups.
Perform renewal reviews and policy audits.
Process transactions and endorsements.
Update client management software and maintain client files.
Build relationships with underwriters and coordinate between customers and carriers.
Ensure compliance and handle special projects as assigned.
