Job summary

Welling Young, LLC, a Dallas-based fast-paced national program, is seeking an Account Manager to oversee a portfolio of clients and ensure their insurance needs are met. You will work with our sales team to deliver best-in-class service to our agents and negotiate placements with carriers.

Responsibilities include client meetings, proposals, and collaboration with carriers. A P&C license is preferred and Excel skills are essential for managing data and quotes.

Qualifications

• 1-5+ years of Commercial Insurance Account Management experience.
• P&C license is heavily preferred.
• Understanding of insurance coverages and policy language.
• Ability to use automated systems and Microsoft Office products, in particular Excel.

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of clients and develop and maintain positive relationships with clients, insurance carriers, and other stakeholders.
• Conduct regular client meetings to review insurance coverage, identify risks, and provide proactive solutions.
• Prepare and present new business proposals and presentations to clients.
• Collaborate with clients and insurance carriers to negotiate and place insurance policies.
• Assist Producer(s) with production of quotes and presentations as needed.
• Produces applications, binders, certificates of insurance, Auto ID cards, and endorsements as directed.
• Works directly with Company clients to assure the highest level of customer service for all aspects of products, adhering to service standards.

This organization is a Dallas based, fast paced, and growing national program. The Account Manager will be responsible for managing a portfolio of clients and ensuring their insurance needs are met. The position works closely with our sales team to provide best-in-class service to our agents.
