Job summary

Structis is seeking an experienced Insulation Estimator to drive accurate and competitive project estimates across multifamily and commercial insulation work. You will review plans, perform take-offs, and collaborate with project managers to ensure bids meet budget and scope.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in estimating, strong insulation knowledge, and proficiency with Bluebeam, PlanSwift, and MS Office. This on-site role offers a team-driven atmosphere and solid job security.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in estimating.
• Strong understanding of insulation materials and installation techniques.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and estimating software (e.g., Bluebeam, PlanSwift or similar tools).
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.

Responsibilities

• Review project plans and specifications to develop accurate estimates for insulation work.
• Perform detailed quantity take-offs and create comprehensive cost estimates for labor and materials.
• Collaborate with project managers and clients to ensure estimates meet project requirements and expectations.
• Provide value engineering and alternative material recommendations to improve cost-effectiveness.
• Prepare bid proposals, budgets, and cost reports for project submission.
• Stay updated on industry trends, material costs, and best practices.

Primary Objective

As an Insulation Estimator, you will play a critical role in the growth and profitability of our company. You will be responsible for preparing accurate and competitive estimates for insulation projects in various sectors. Your expertise in materials, and project management will help ensure that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standard.

Duties/Responsibilities

• Review project plans, specifications to develop accurate estimates for Insulation work
• Perform detailed quantity take-offs and create comprehensive cost estimates for labor, materials
• Collaborate with project managers and clients to ensure estimates meet project requirements and expectations
