Job summary

CoolSys is seeking Refrigeration Start-up Technicians to install and start-up supermarket refrigeration, HVAC, and ventilation equipment. You will handle EMS wiring/programming, verify safety, and ensure customer satisfaction on time and within scope.

The role requires experience with parallel rack systems, EPA I/II certification, and strong mechanical aptitude. Travel, overtime, and ongoing EO projects are part of the job.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• EPA I and II Certification required.
• 3+ years of supermarket EMS systems experience.
• 5+ years of commercial refrigeration experience, incl. parallel rack systems.

Responsibilities

• Performs evacuations of parallel racks after pressure tests.
• Wires and programs EMS systems for various manufacturers.
• Full start-up of new parallel refrigeration systems and individual systems.
• Leads small projects like single case and condenser changeouts.
• Assists with energy optimization projects and EMS upgrades.
• Collaborates with Service/Construction Managers and trains junior staff.
