Job summary

J.W. Didado Electric seeks an experienced Estimator to prepare proposals for commercial, industrial, and specialty projects.

You will perform take-offs, review procurement packages, and coordinate site visits with the Superintendent and Project Manager, clearly communicating estimate bases during bid reviews. Responsibilities include developing cost estimates from conceptual design through final bid, preparing BOEs, and leading cross-disciplinary estimate reviews.

Qualifications

• Experience preparing proposals for commercial/industrial projects.
• Ability to complete take-offs and review RFP packages.
• Ability to perform site visits and communicate estimate basis during bid reviews.

Responsibilities

• Prepare estimates from conceptual designs to 100% final design bid estimates.
• Develop Basis of Estimate (BOE) outlining scope and assumptions.
• Lead estimate reviews with engineering disciplines and project team.
