Job summary

Mechanical Systems and Service (MSS), a Crete United company, is seeking a Commercial HVAC technician to troubleshoot, maintain, repair and install HVAC systems. This role covers the San Antonio, TX area and surrounding counties.

Candidates should have 3+ years of commercial HVAC maintenance experience and EPA 608 certification. You will perform routine repairs, inspect systems, read blueprints, and work with an excellent customer base. MSS is an equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of commercial HVAC maintenance experience.
• EPA Universal Certification.
• Ability to troubleshoot HVAC components with built up systems and package units.
• Ability to read electronic schematics.
• High School diploma/GED required + equivalent work experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine repairs to pump seals, bearing, etc.
• Inspect and test systems to verify compliance with plans and specifications.
• Determine customer concerns with HVAC and boiler systems.
• Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean work area.
• Record and report faults and time/materials expended on work orders.
• Adjust system controls as per manufacturer recommendations.
• Install auxiliary components to heating-cooling equipment per blueprints.
• Study blueprints and manufacturer specifications to ensure proper installation.
• Fabricate, assemble, or install duct work or chassis parts.
