Job summary

SCI is seeking an HVAC technician to install, maintain, and repair HVAC systems in commercial facilities. The role requires hands-on experience, strong problem-solving, and a commitment to safety and customer service.

The ideal candidate will have a High School Diploma or GED, a valid HVAC-R license (Type A or B) preferred, EPA 608 certification preferred, and a valid driver’s license. Overtime and local travel may be required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• HVAC-R license (Type A or B) preferred and EPA Section 608 preferred.
• Valid state driver’s license in good standing required.

Responsibilities

• Installs, maintains, and repairs HVAC systems for commercial facilities.
• Inspects HVAC systems for leaks, clogs, and faulty components.
• Troubleshoots problems including electrical connections, thermostats, motors, and refrigerant levels.
• Performs routine maintenance—cleaning, replacing filters, checks performance for efficiency.
• Maintains service records of repairs, installations, and parts used.
• Provides estimates for repairs, upgrades, or new installations.
