Commercial Kitchen Ventilation is hiring a Level 1 Commercial HVAC Technician in Norristown, PA. You’ll diagnose and repair kitchen hoods, ducts, fans, and rooftop gear, building hands-on troubleshooting skills and improving service efficiency.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years in commercial HVAC or mechanical service
• Basic diagnostic and repair skills for hoods, ducts and rooftop equipment
• EPA 608 Universal Certification is a plus — not required

Responsibilities

• Run basic service calls with support and coaching when needed
• Inspect, diagnose, and repair hood systems, fans, ducts, and related rooftop equipment
• Work in high, tight, hot, cold, and wet conditions — without complaint
• Troubleshoot airflow, electrical, and mechanical issues
• Maintain clean work habits and professional communication on every jobsite
• Keep your tools sharp, your truck clean, and your attitude sharper

Location: Norristown, PA (Field-Based Role) | Pay Range: $22–$26/hour | Full-Time

Position Summary:

We’re hiring a Level 1 Commercial HVAC Technician. You’ve got 1–2 years in the trade and a handle on the basics — but you’re ready for more. You’ll help diagnose and repair kitchen hoods, duct systems, fans, and rooftop gear. You’ll get real exposure to troubleshooting airflow issues, electrical problems, and basic mechanical breakdowns.

We’re not looking for techs who just swap parts. We’re looking for people who figure out the real problem — and fix it.

What You’ll Do:

Physical Requirements & Work Environment:

You’ll work in crawlspaces, mechanical rooms, rooftops (including steep pitches), basements, lifts, and boom trucks. Expect to lift 50+ lbs, work in extreme weather, climb ladders, and stay moving all day.
