Job summary

Commercial Kitchen Ventilation in Norristown, PA is seeking a Level 2 Commercial HVAC Technician. You will run service calls independently, troubleshooting and repairing kitchen ventilation systems, including hoods, ductwork, fans, and rooftop units.

You’ll diagnose airflow, electrical, and mechanical issues and communicate clearly with customers and teammates. The role demands 2–4 years of field HVAC experience, valid driver's license, and a strong problem-solving mindset.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of commercial HVAC or ventilation service experience.
• EPA 608 certification is a plus.
• Valid driver’s license required or preferred.

• Run service calls independently, from troubleshooting to clean, documented repairs.
• Diagnose airflow, mechanical, and electrical issues in kitchen ventilation systems.

We’re Hiring: Level 2 Commercial HVAC Technician – Own the Call, Own the Standard

Location: Norristown, PA (Field-Based Role) | Pay Range: $27–$32/hour | Full-Time

Position Summary:

We’re hiring a Level 2 Commercial HVAC Technician. You've got 2–4 years under your belt, and you're ready to run most calls without needing a lifeline. You’ll handle real-world troubleshooting across hoods, ductwork, fans, curbs, and rooftop ventilation systems — diagnosing airflow problems, electrical issues, and mechanical failures.

We don’t want techs who wait to be told what to do. We want pros who see the problem, move, and solve it.

What You’ll Do:

What You’ll Bring:

• 2–4 years of commercial HVAC or ventilation service experience
• Proven troubleshooting ability — not just swapping parts
• Valid driver’s license and dependable transportation
• EPA 608 Universal Certification is a plus — not required
• Mechanical intelligence, physical toughness, and mental resilience
• Pride in your work and ownership of your results

Physical Requirements & Work Environment:

You’ll be lifting 50+ lbs, climbing ladders onto steep or multi-story roofs, working inside tight crawlspaces, hot attics, wet basements, and on lifts or boom trucks. Expect every kind of weather. Expect every kind of challenge.
