The role focuses on maintenance, repair, and modernization of HVAC systems to maintain regulated climatic conditions, requiring EPA Universal Certification and the ability to diagnose and repair diverse equipment. Must have a high school diploma, EPA Type II license, 2+ years' experience, and U.S. citizenship for military access.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years of experience in commercial HVAC maintenance, repair, installation, and operation.
• EPA Type II Refrigeration License.
• HVAC course or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license capable of REAL ID.
• U.S. citizenship to access military installations.
• Pass a pre-employment drug screening and background check.
• Regular, dependable attendance.
• EPA Universal Refrigeration License preferred.

Responsibilities

• Work on various HVAC units: split package, residential style, up to light commercial, mini-splits, VAVs and AHU.
• Use a multi-meter to check voltage.
• Use a torch for brazing.
• Prepare work orders and cost materials estimates.
• May assist in training lower-level workers in mechanical repair techniques.
