CaptiveAire is seeking a Service Technician to commission and maintain commercial HVAC systems in Bozeman, MT. This role involves testing, diagnosing, and repairing equipment, with a focus on safety and compliance.

Applicants should have 2+ years in HVAC service, a valid driver's license, and knowledge of electrical schematics. The position offers a 75k+ starting salary with a $4,000 signing bonus and a strong benefits package, including paid holidays and a company vehicle.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience servicing commercial HVAC systems.
• Valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record (required).
• EPA Universal Certification and OSHA 10 recommended; HVAC knowledge required.
• Strong ability to read electrical schematics and refrigeration cycles.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs; travel for training may be required.
• Safety-minded with good verbal/written communication.

Responsibilities

• Commissioning CaptiveAire equipment and verifying operation.
• Service and repair of commercial HVAC/R systems.
• Develop and perform routine preventive maintenance.
• Read electrical schematics and mechanical drawings to diagnose issues.
• Communicate system status and recommended repairs with facility managers.
• Ensure compliance with EPA regulations and safety standards.
