Job summary

Cushman & Wakefield is seeking a Commercial HVAC Technician - 1st Shift in Atlanta, GA. You will operate and maintain all HVAC and building systems to ensure safe, efficient, and reliable facility performance for the client.

The role requires hands-on experience with chillers, boilers, motors, and controls; it includes on-call duties, documentation in CMMS, and collaboration with the client and subcontractors. High school or GED with HVAC certs is needed.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or approved GED.
• 3 years experience demonstrating a mechanical aptitude acquired through previous job experience or vocational schooling.
• 3-5 Years experience with a refrigerant recovery license and HVAC certification is required.
• Must demonstrate the ability to operate a company vehicle in a safe manner and hold a valid state drivers license with a clean driving record.
• Must also pass a criminal background check and drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain HVAC systems including rooftop units, chillers, boilers, pumps and related equipment.
• Troubleshoot electrical systems including panels, transformers and MCCs; monitor equipment with meters and controls.
• Conduct facility condition assessments and ensure safety, reliability and cost-effective operation.
• Record events and maintenance in CMMS; report equipment failures to supervisor.
• Provide on-site supervision of subcontractors and assist with project status updates.
