Total Air Service is seeking a full-time Commercial HVAC Technician to join our family-owned and operated team in Willis, TX. Located near Conroe, Montgomery, Huntsville, and The Woodlands, Total Air Service services only Montgomery and Walker Counties, allowing our technicians to stay local and enjoy a better quality of life without commuting into Houston every day.

BASICS:

We offer competitive pay of $35 - $39 per hour, a $1,000 sign-on bonus for technicians with 5 years or more experience, and performance-based earning opportunities..

Commercial HVAC Technician Schedule:

• Full-time
• Monday - Friday
• 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
• Participation in monthly on-call rotation (currently every 4 weeks)
• Commercial after-hours emergency calls
• Residential on-call participation required

YOUR CONTRIBUTIONS MATTER

In this Commercial HVAC Technician role, you will primarily service, maintain, inspect, troubleshoot, and repair commercial HVAC equipment throughout Montgomery and Walker Counties. You will work on rooftop units (RTUs), package units, split systems, make-up air units, exhaust fans, commercial controls, and Building Automation Systems (BAS). Your day will include preventative maintenance, commercial troubleshooting and diagnostics, three-phase electrical troubleshooting, documenting equipment conditions, and providing repair recommendations and estimates.

You will regularly communicate with property managers and facility personnel while performing commissioning, start-ups, and commercial warranty work. Although this is a commercial-focused position, you will also perform residential service and maintenance when needed, participate in residential on-call service, utilize Housecall Pro documentation processes, and support company goals related to maintenance memberships and Comfort Advisor lead generation opportunities.

COMMERCIAL HVAC TECHNICIAN REQUIREMENTS:

• 5+ years of HVAC service experience (preferred)
• Commercial rooftop equipment experience
• Experience with RTUs, package units, split systems, commercial controls, and BAS systems
• EPA universal certification
• Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record
• Ability to read electrical schematics and wiring diagrams
• Knowledge of three-phase electrical systems
• Ability to work on both commercial and residential systems
• Strong troubleshooting, diagnostic, and customer service skills
• Ability to complete digital documentation and utilize Housecall Pro processes
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and work on rooftops, ladders, and in confined spaces
