Desmond Heating & Cooling Solutions is hiring an experienced Commercial HVAC Technician to join our professional team. This full-time position serves Delaware, Chester County, Philadelphia, and surrounding areas. The ideal candidate will have hands‑on experience installing, maintaining, and repairing commercial heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems, while upholding the high standards of service and craftsmanship Desmond is known for.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair commercial HVAC systems, including rooftop units, chillers, boilers, and air handling systems.
• Perform installation and replacement of HVAC equipment in commercial buildings, offices, and industrial facilities.
• Conduct preventive maintenance programs to ensure system efficiency, reliability, and compliance with safety standards.
• Interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and mechanical drawings to guide system installations and repairs.
• Test HVAC systems and components for proper operation using specialized tools and instruments.
• Work with building automation and control systems (BAS) to optimize energy efficiency and system performance.
• Respond promptly to service calls and emergency repairs.
• Maintain accurate service records, timesheets, and parts usage documentation.
• Interact professionally with customers, contractors, and property managers to provide clear communication and trusted service.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in commercial HVAC installation, service, and maintenance.
• EPA Section 608 Certification required.
• Strong technical knowledge of large-scale HVAC systems, electrical controls, and refrigeration cycles.
• Experience working with BAS and digital control systems preferred.
• OSHA certification preferred.
• Excellent problem‑solving, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and in team environments.
