Job summary

Desmond Heating & Cooling Solutions, LLC is seeking an experienced Commercial Refrigeration Technician to join our team. This full-time role serves Delaware, Chester County, Philadelphia, and surrounding regions, providing installation, service and maintenance of commercial refrigeration systems.

You will diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair walk-in coolers, freezers, display cases, ice machines and chillers, install new units, and perform preventive maintenance.

Qualifications

• EPA Section 608 Certification is required.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience in commercial refrigeration service and repair.
• Valid driver's license with clean record.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair commercial refrigeration systems (walk-ins, freezers, display cases, ice machines, chillers).
• Install new refrigeration units, compressors, and controls per manufacturer specs and local codes.
• Perform preventive maintenance to ensure reliability, safety and efficiency.
• Read blueprints, wiring diagrams, and manuals; document service reports and refrigerant logs.
• Leak detection, refrigerant recovery, and charging per EPA regulations.
