Job summary

All Weather Contractors in Jacksonville, FL is seeking an experienced Commercial HVAC Technician to diagnose, maintain, and repair commercial and multi-family climate control systems. You will work onsite, independently yet with strong support from a field team, handling rooftop units, heat pumps, and air handlers while prioritizing safety and technical excellence.

The role requires a minimum of 4 years in commercial HVAC, Universal EPA certification, a valid driver's license, and your own HVAC

Qualifications

• Minimum of 4 years of hands-on HVAC service experience in multi-family or commercial systems.
• Active Universal EPA certification.
• Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record.
• Ability to diagnose/repair rooftop units, heat pumps, split systems, and electrical schematics.
• Own HVAC hand tools and diagnostic gauges.
• Physical ability to climb ladders and lift heavy equipment.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, maintain, and repair commercial HVAC equipment including rooftop units and air handlers.
• Perform preventative maintenance and identify deficiencies for repairs or replacements.
• Interpret electrical/mechanical schematics to troubleshoot system components safely.
• Coordinate with Dispatch and report findings to customers and property managers.

How You Will Make An Impact

• Diagnose, maintain, and repair commercial HVAC equipment, including rooftop units, split systems, heat pumps, and air handlers.
• Execute preventative maintenance programs and identify system deficiencies to recommend long-term repair or replacement solutions.
• Interpret electrical and mechanical schematics to troubleshoot complex system components in accordance with safety standards.
• Coordinate with central Dispatch and communicate clear technical findings directly to customers and property managers.
• Utilize company-provided digital tools to maintain accurate service records, track parts inventory, and process payments.
• Participate in the team on-call rotation to ensure rapid, high-quality emergency support during evening and weekend shifts.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site environment while managing vehicle tools and supplied project materials.

Required Qualifications & Experience

• Minimum of 4 years of hands‑on HVAC service experience, specifically focused on multi‑family and/or commercial systems and equipment.
• Active Universal EPA Certification.
• Valid Driver's License with an acceptable driving record.
• Proven ability to diagnose and repair rooftop units, heat pumps, split systems, and electrical schematics.
• Possession and maintenance of personal HVAC hand tools and diagnostic gauges.
• Physical ability to climb ladders, lift heavy equipment, and work in varying commercial site conditions.

Preferred Qualifications & Experience

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• Active NATE (North American Technician Excellence) certification.
• Proficiency using iPads, tablets, and electronic field documentation software.
