Jobot is seeking a skilled Commercial HVAC Technician to join our Davenport, IA team. This permanent role focuses on troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining commercial HVAC equipment for industrial clients.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of experience, EPA Universal Certification, Iowa HVAC license (or ability to obtain), and strong problem-solving skills. Excellent compensation, benefits, and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience repairing commercial/industrial HVAC systems.
• Ability to interpret electrical and mechanical plans.
• Experience with cooling towers, pumps, burners, RTUs, VRF, and VAV systems.
• EPA Universal Certification.
• Iowa HVAC license or ability to obtain.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal skills.
• Familiarity with safety regulations and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing ventilation and air conditioning systems and equipment.
• Identifying maintenance risks on equipment and implementing corrective measures.
• Diagnosing electrical and mechanical faults for HVAC systems.
• Cleaning, adjusting, and repairing systems, and performing warranty services.
• Performing emergency repairs promptly and efficiently.
• Providing technical direction and on-the-job training to junior staff.
• Keeping daily logs and records of all maintenance functions.
• Ensuring compliance with appliance standards and with Occupational Health and Safety Act.
• Complying with service standards, work instructions, and customers' requirements.
• Assisting with customers' queries and providing expert advice and solutions.

• 4. Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills.
• 5. Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
• 6. Ability to work independently and in a team.
• 7. EPA Universal Certification.
• 8. Familiarity with safety regulations and procedures.
• 9. Iowa HVAC License (or ability to obtain)
• 10. A valid driver's license.
