Job summary

Engineering Excellence is seeking a senior HVAC service expert in Farmington Hills, MI to diagnose, repair and maintain complex commercial systems. You will lead by example, mentor technicians, and support field leadership activities such as work planning, audits, and jobsite oversight.

Ideal candidates have 6+ years of hands-on HVAC experience, a high school diploma or GED, and strong proficiency with CMMS and safety protocols.

Qualifications

• Diagnose, repair and maintain complex commercial HVAC systems.

• 6+ years of experience in HVAC service or related roles.

Responsibilities

• Manage tool calibration and readiness.
• Prepare service kits with correct parts and PPE.
• Run compliance checks on storage and labeling.
• Collect and upload service evidence into CMMS.
• Coordinate disposal of expired parts and consumables.
• Train S1–S3 staff on staging and documentation standards.
• Audit inventory and update logs.
• Prepare surge kits for emergency response.
• Support technicians during complex repairs.
• Maintain organized toolrooms and storage areas.
