Job summary

Ambient Enterprises is seeking an on-site Service Technician in Reno, NV to perform a range of HVAC service tasks for commercial customers. The role requires decisive, reliable individuals who communicate well with customers and fellow technicians.

You will diagnose and repair HVAC systems, follow safety standards, complete daily activity reports, and assist in training other employees. A post-secondary HVAC program and strong reading/comprehension skills are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent, plus two-year HVAC program recommended.
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting abilities.
• Excellent communication with customers and team members.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair HVAC systems for commercial customers.
• Clearly communicate with customers, technicians, supervisors, and dispatcher.
• Perform routine HVAC service activities with minimal supervision.
• Document daily job activities for sponsors.
• Assist Training Coordinator in staff training on service topics.
• Follow safety standards, attend safety meetings, and report unsafe conditions.
• Develop lead referrals for the sales staff.
• Perform other duties as directed by the Service Supervisor.
