Job summary

Lonnie B Robinson is seeking an experienced HVAC Service Technician for commercial work. The role requires 5+ years in HVAC and refrigeration, with hands-on ability to service, diagnose, and repair commercial systems on the road.

Candidate should have DX, package/split systems, RTU/AHU experience, and air-cooled chillers; controls knowledge is a plus. EPA certification and a valid driver’s license are required. Travel to Houston, TX area is anticipated.

• 5+ years service technician experience in the field.
• Able to service, repair, diagnose, troubleshoot and test commercial HVAC equipment.
• Skilled with DX units.
• Able to install package units and split systems.
• Experience with VAV boxes and water source heat pumps.
• 5 years RTU and AHU experience.
• Air cooled chiller experience (5 years).
• Knowledge of controls preferred but not required.
• Must have and maintain a positive attitude.
• Must have own tools.

Requirements

• HVAC - 5 years recent commercial experience in the field
• Refrigeration - 5 years recent experience
• Service Technician - 5 years in the field (not managing buildings) recent commercial experience
• Ability to service, repair, diagnose, troubleshoot, and test commercial HVAC equipment
• Skilled at servicing and maintaining DX units
• Set and install package units / split systems
• Work on VAV boxes and water source heat pumps
• RTU and AHU experience - 5 years
• Looking for someone with air cooled chiller experience - 5 years experience
• Knowledge of controls preferred, but not required
• Must have and maintain a positive attitude
• Must have own tools

Licenses Required

• EPA Certification
• Valid Driver's License

Work authorization for USA - required

Education: High school or equivalent

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour
