Job Title:

Commercial HVAC Service Technician

Job Type:

Full-Time (7:00 am - 4:00 pm, with flexibility to work nights as needed and rotating on call schedule)

Salary:

$35 - $40 an hour based on experience

Job Description:

As a Commercial HVAC Service Technician, you will service and maintain HVAC systems in commercial settings. Your duties include handling service calls, diagnosing issues, developing repair plans, ordering parts, documenting activities, and maintaining schedules and EPA Logs.

Responsibilities:

• Perform HVAC installation, service, maintenance, and controls in commercial settings.
• Familiarity with electric controls, VVT, DDC, and programmable thermostats.
• Knowledge of HVAC equipment types, including window units, package units, air handling units, and some refrigeration.
• Order and maintain truck supplies.
• Document activities and installed equipment.
• Track maintenance schedules and EPA Logs.
• Work safely with PPE, operate lifts and ladders, diagnose issues, calibrate systems, and explain solutions to customers.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years in commercial/industrial HVAC.
• Class Three Freon License and EPA Card.
• Texas Registration.
• Knowledge of electric controls, VVT, DDC, and programmable thermostats.
• Valid TWIC and safety training.
• Pass background and drug tests.
• Experience with Service Software and own tools.
• Certifications such as OSHA-10/30, Lift Certification are preferred.
• Refrigeration, electric motors, boilers, and controls experience preferred.
