Job Type:

Full-Time (7:00 am - 4:00 pm, with flexibility to work nights as needed and rotating on call schedule)

Salary:

$35 - $40 an hour based on experience

Job Description:

As a Commercial HVAC Service Technician, you will be responsible for servicing and maintaining HVAC systems in commercial settings. Your duties include handling service calls, diagnosing issues, developing repair plans, ordering parts, documenting activities, and maintaining schedules and EPA Logs.

Responsibilities:

1. Perform HVAC installation, service, maintenance, and controls in commercial settings.
2. Familiarity with electric controls, VVT, DDC, and programmable thermostats.
3. Knowledge of various HVAC equipment types, including window units, package units, air handling units, and some refrigeration.
4. Order and maintain truck supplies and parts.
5. Document activities and installed equipment.
6. Track maintenance schedules and EPA Logs.
7. Operate lifts and ladders safely.
8. Diagnose service issues and calibrate systems.
9. Explain evaluations, diagnoses, and solutions to customers.

Qualifications:

1. 5+ years of experience in commercial/industrial HVAC.
2. Class Three Freon License and EPA Card.
3. Texas Registration.
4. Knowledge of electric controls, VVT, DDC, and programmable thermostats.
5. Valid TWIC and safety training.
6. Ability to pass background and drug tests.
7. Experience with Service Software (FieldEase preferred).
8. Own tools and responsible for company tools.
9. OSHA-10 or OSHA-30 preferred; lift certification preferred.
10. Experience with refrigeration, electric motors, heating units, and controls.
